<Plan outline>
The Birthplace of The Japanese Alps is full of tradition and history, this experience is designed to help you feel what it was like to be a SOMABITO (woodcutter) of yesteryear. You begin to feel the part as you hike through the lush forest of Chubusangaku National Park collecting listening to a local guide talk about life in the Japanese Alps and collecting firewood.
The firewood gathered along the hike will be used in a campfire at the Star & Moon Restaurant, and after dining you can experience the effects of 1/f fluctuations, like a moon and star-filled sky. At the end of the night head back to your traditional onsen ryokan (inn) where you can soothe your muscles.
